The Commando Temple Fight Club
The Commando Temple Fight Club has a range of regular group martial arts classes such as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts and Muay Thai. During these specialised sessions, trainees can reap the benefits of our lead instructor’s 20 years of martial arts experience, as well as the skills and support of our other expert coaches. All classes take place within the welcoming and encouraging community that we have built together with students at our award winning strength and movement gym.
Although some of our fight club classes may come across as a little bit daunting at first, we want all of our students to rest assured that unless stated otherwise on our timetable, the training sessions that we offer within The Commando Temple Fight Club are designed with a range of abilities in mind, from beginner to professional. We pride ourselves on a philosophy of accessibility and encouragement, ensuring that every participant is welcomed, regardless of their prior knowledge, training background and overall fitness goals.
As our members find out very quickly, it is not only the bespoke equipment, specialist coaching and innovative facilities that pull students back week after week, but also the social feature of the Commando Temple. The community aspect of our Fight Club in particular, is motivational to our students. Individuals from all walks of life come together to train, support and influence one another. A common goal is shared, and that is to learn how to push the body in order to get the best individual results possible, under guidance of highly educated coaches.
The Commando Temple Fight Club classes will cover many major strength and conditioning disciplines, cardiovascular exercises and of course, all of the essential foundations that will help students to progress and develop in the fighting game. Alongside the challenging physical development of our fighters, fun, friendship and above all safety, are key to what we do.
Every movement made in class will be strong and safe, with an injury rehabilitation service in-house.
Ideally trainees should attend regular sessions in order to build upon their practice and hone their individual skillset with the advice of a trusted coach. We offer 8 Fight Club classes per week and a Commando Temple Fight Club Pass at a competitive rate. The gym is located minutes away from Deptford and Greenwich mainline rail stations and is a short distance from Blackheath, Greenwich, Deptford, Brockley and New Cross.
