Strength is empowering. I focus on what my body is capable of instead of what it looks like. Training has shifted my mindset; It has paved the way for me to fully appreciate and accept my body, and all its capabilities.

Picking up the weights has helped me mentally more than anything. Having suffered with severe eating disorders and depression for many years I found weight training and yoga to be the few things that assisted my recovery.

I feel strong, confident and happy in my body and mind now and want to help others to feel the same and reach their own personal goals. Strength and knowledge builds character. The confidence I have when approaching the barbell is transferred to the confidence I have in my self, outside of the gym. Training teaches you discipline and patience.

I played football for many years with Southendian Ladies FC, Basketball, cricket and Athletics for Southend AC. In February 2018 I started competing in Powerlifting and in the first year broke several Greater London records, placed at Divisional and National Competitions, and invited to represent Great Britain in the World Bench Press Championships 2019 Tokyo, Japan and the European Championships in Luxembourg.

It’s truly amazing how weight training can improve every aspect of your health and well-being. Anyone can reap the rewards regardless of shape, size, age, gender, or fitness levels. It’s never too late to start. As a professional Coach I enjoy helping and giving people maximum support with their training, nutrition and programming. Everybody is unique; each with their own strengths and limitations. We will collaborate and form a plan together using the appropriate method regarding your particular needs.

Training has changed my life, and I want it to do the same for others.
