Muay Thai Coach

Jonathan began his martial arts journey with Karate as a child, he then progressed onto Muay Thai at the age of 22. He has been training and competing as a Muay Thai athlete for 10 years, he learned his craft at KO Next Generation gym in Thornton heath under the tutelage of Kru Sam, where he excelled as a fighter and coach. In the last 5 years Jonathan has trained a number of adults and young people to compete in Muay Thai, and become more confident with self-defence.

Since retiring as a Muay Thai fighter, Jonathan now pursues his passion in training clients one to one and delivering classes from ages 6 and above in Muay Thai Kickboxing, Athletics, Strength & Conditioning, and Functional Movement.

Jonathan’s goal is to make sport and exercise enjoyable at the same time challenging and rewarding. His focus on promoting mental and physical wellbeing is one of his top priorities when delivering his sessions. As Jonathan continues his journey promoting his Dance and Martial arts business Sayaw partnered with his sister Hannah-Ruth, his goal is to one day open a gym to accommodate all his staff and clients when delivering sessions and workshops.

In Jonathan’s spare time he enjoys eating good food, traveling, and enjoying the company of his friends and family.
